Description
Spotting movement at the far fence line is half the job. Without a distance you cannot log it, brief anyone, or judge whether it needs a response. This night vision binocular camera carries an 1800m laser rangefinder in the same housing as the optics, so the reading sits in the eyepiece while you stay on target. The 905nm laser is Class 1 eye safe and reads within 1 metre out to 400m, then within 0.4 percent beyond that. Detection runs to 1500m under a full moon and 1000m at quarter moon with the infrared on, measured against a building.
One 50mm F0.9 objective feeds a large CMOS sensor; the second barrel carries the rangefinder and the infrared emitters. You choose 850nm for reach or 940nm for a beam nobody sees, across three brightness levels, and twist the illuminator ring to narrow the beam for distance or widen it for close ground. Magnification runs from the 6X objective up to 36X through the zoom stage, and the unit records 4K at 60fps with 16.12MP stills, or mirrors the live view to the free smartphone app (iOS and Android) over WiFi.
Twin OLED eyepiece displays sit behind boat-shaped eyecups that trap the glow, the buttons are silent, and an electronic compass adds a bearing to every range. Four 18650 cells give about 8.5 hours with the infrared off, with USB-C power bank input for longer sits. In the box: four 18650 cells, the battery charger, a 32GB microSD card and reader, HDMI and USB-C cables, neck strap, lens cloth and a hard case.
