Description

VIM-PET4G is a compact 4G GPS tracker for dogs and cats, delivering real-time location updates and geofence alerts. The lightweight design attaches to a collar or harness via a built-in key ring hole, and the companion app for iPhone and Android provides live tracking, 90-day history, and settings control. SMS tracking is available when data access is limited. It has no subscription fees.

Features

Real-time tracking: Live location via 4G GPS so you can see where your pet is at any moment, from your phone.
Geofence alerts: Create safe zones; receive instant notifications if your pet exits the defined area.
SMS tracking: Request location updates by SMS when you can't access the app or have limited data coverage.
App control & history: Free iOS/Android app for live view, settings, remote voice monitoring, and 90-day GPS history.
No subscription fees: Tracking functions are available without ongoing annual charges.

Applications

Where It's Useful

Ideal for everyday pet walks, off-leash adventures, and backyard monitoring, as well as keeping tabs on kids or elderly family members. Use SMS tracking as a backup when you can't access the app, and set geofences around home, parks, or work sites for proactive safety.

SIM Card Support:

Spark
One NZ
2degrees

Application:

Pets ( dogs, cats)
Elderly people
Kids

How it Works

Fit a SIM and charge it: Insert a nano-SIM on a data plan and charge the tracker before the first walk.
Attach it to the collar: Thread the collar or harness through the built-in key ring hole so the unit sits flat under the chin.
Track and set boundaries: The tracker reports its position over 4G to the free iPhone and Android app. Draw a geo-fence around the property to be alerted when your pet leaves it, and send an SMS command for a location reply when you have no data.

Ninety days of history is stored, so you can see where a cat spends the day rather than only where it is now. There is no subscription fee.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do geofence alerts work?

You set a virtual boundary in the app; if the tracker moves outside that zone, a push alert is sent immediately.

Can I track without mobile data?

Yes. Send an SMS command to receive the tracker's current coordinates by text as a backup.

Is it easy to attach to collars?

The body has a key ring hole for simple attachment to most collars or harnesses, keeping the unit secure and comfortable.
