A 4G camera in a gully or under bush often has just enough signal to register on the network and not enough to send a clip. Moving the antenna a few metres higher, and away from the camera body, is usually what fixes it.

This D LENP A27021 panel antenna does exactly that. It covers 698 to 960MHz and 1710 to 2700MHz with 10 to 12dBi of gain and a VSWR under 2.5, and the 5m lead lets you put it on a higher branch or the ridge of a shed while the camera stays where you want the picture. The SMA male connector and the supplied male to female adapter fit most trail cameras, 4G cameras and modems, and the housing is built to stay outside.

How it Works

Find the high point: Pick a spot within 5m of the camera that has the clearest line toward the nearest tower, and away from metal roofing, thick trunks and rock faces.
Mount the panel and aim it: Fix the metal bracket with the supplied screws and point the flat face of the panel toward the tower or the open horizon. The gain comes from direction, so aim matters more than height alone.
Swap the antenna over: Unscrew the camera's own stub antenna, screw the 5m lead onto the SMA port using the supplied adapter if the thread does not match, then check the signal bars in the camera app before you tidy the cable away.
