Mount the front unit and rear camera, record to a micro SD card (up to 128GB), and power it via your vehicle. The camera can auto start/stop with the engine, and the hardwire kit enables continuous parking surveillance without needing to remember to turn it on.

The front lens records 2880 x 2160 on a single channel. Run the front and rear together and both record 1080p. The Sony sensor and 170 degree lens are what hold detail at the edges of the frame, where plates usually sit.

2. What are LDWS and FCWS?

Lane departure warning tells you when the car drifts out of its lane without an indicator. Forward collision warning sounds when you are closing on the vehicle ahead too quickly. Both are driver aids, not autopilot, and you can switch them off.

3. Does it keep recording when the car is parked?

Yes, with the included ACC HK3 hardwire kit. That wires to the fuse box so the camera holds power with the ignition off, and its battery protection cuts out before the vehicle battery drops too low to start.

4. Does it track where the car has been?

It has built-in GPS that logs route and speed against the footage, so you can see where a clip was recorded and how fast the vehicle was moving at the time. That history is stored locally on the memory card.

5. How do I get footage off it?

Take the microSD card to a computer, or use the 2 inch screen on the unit to find and lock a clip so loop recording cannot overwrite it. Locked files stay on the card until you remove them.
