Description

A telephoto lens and a wide angle lens on the same head, with 12X hybrid zoom between them, so the VIM-4GSOL14 can hold the whole yard and still push in on the gate.

It records 2304x1296 at 15fps, and the PTZ head pans 340 degrees and tilts 90 at 30 degrees a second. Six white floodlight LEDs reach 50 metres, an 840nm infrared projector handles the dark quietly, and red and blue alarm lights plus a siren fire on motion or on command from the app. An adjustable 6 Watt panel on a 5m cable keeps the rechargeable pack charged, a 4G SIM carries the picture, and footage goes to a microSD card up to 128GB or the cloud. The housing is IP66 and the unit weighs 2kg.

How it Works

Mount the camera, run the panel out: The 5m solar cable lets the panel sit clear of the building line while the camera goes where the view is. Nothing is wired to mains.
Insert a data SIM: A 4G data SIM is the only connection needed. Live P2P view, playback and alerts reach iOS, Android and Windows.
Decide what a trigger does: The PIR can bring on the floodlights for a colour record, fire the red and blue alarm lights and the siren, or simply start recording quietly on infrared.
