Description

A 4 to 22mm motorised lens giving 10X optical zoom, on a solar PTZ camera light enough to go on a fence post. The VIM-4GSOL3-10X is the version of this body built for a driveway or a shed rather than a boundary.

A 3MP Black Light sensor records 1920x1080 at 30fps, and the head pans 355 degrees and tilts 100. Infrared at 840nm reaches 30 metres and white floodlights give full colour night vision. A 0.2 second trigger and AI human detection cover a 95 degree angle out to 12 metres, and the microphone picks up to 20 metres with two way audio back. An adjustable 8 Watt panel charges six 18650 cells, and a 4G SIM works with Spark, One NZ, 2degrees and MVNOs such as Skinny and Warehouse Mobile. Storage is a microSD card up to 128GB or the cloud, and the IP66 system weighs about 2kg.

Features

Full HD 1080p surveillance: Capture activity in 1920 x 1080P resolution so faces, vehicles and plates are clearer when you review recordings or live view.
4G SIM remote access: The 4G mobile network connection with SIM card lets you monitor, play back and control the camera remotely where Wi-Fi is not available.
10X optical zoom PTZ control: Motorised pan, tilt and 10X optical zoom help you follow movement and inspect specific areas without losing detail.
Solar power with rechargeable batteries: An adjustable 8W solar panel and rechargeable battery pack keep the camera powered for long-term outdoor use.
Smart detection and alerts: AI human detection, a fast 0.2 second trigger sensor, floodlights and multi-user notifications work together to reduce missed events.
100% wireless turnkey setup: Cable-free 4G connectivity, solar charging and onboard batteries simplify installation on poles, sheds and boundary posts.

Applications

Where This 4G Solar Camera Is Used

This VIM-4GSOL3-10X system suits driveways, yards, rural properties and other locations where running mains power or fixed internet is difficult. 4G connectivity, PTZ control, two-way audio and bright floodlights let you check in on buildings, vehicles and access points from your phone while the camera records continuously or when motion is detected.

How it Works

Mount it and set the panel: The 200 by 150mm panel is adjustable. Angle it for winter and put the camera where the 95 degree detection angle covers the approach.
Insert a data SIM: A data SIM from any of the main New Zealand networks or an MVNO such as Skinny brings it online on 4G. Live P2P view works from iPhone, iPad or Android.
Set the zoom and detection: The 4 to 22mm motorised lens lets you frame the driveway rather than accept a fixed view. AI human detection keeps alerts to people rather than movement.

Specifications
