Thieves use signal jammers and underground bunkers to make vehicles disappear. The VIM-GPS101G Dual Frequency GPS Tracker fights back with L1+L5 anti-interference technology that cuts through jamming. Even in dead zones, military-grade INS sensors keep tracking your vehicle's location without a satellite signal.
Key Features & Benefits
-
Defeats Signal Jammers: Uses Dual-Frequency (L1+L5) positioning to maintain a lock in high-interference areas where standard L1 trackers fail.
-
Tracks Without Signal: The Inertial Navigation System (INS) continues to plot location inside tunnels, underground garages, and "dead zones" using motion sensors.
-
Stop the Engine: Includes a relay kit that allows you to remotely cut off the fuel supply via the app, physically immobilising the vehicle during a theft.
-
Permanent 9-30V Power: Hardwires directly to vehicle power (compatible with 12V cars and 24V trucks). Never needs recharging.
-
Driving Behaviour Analysis: Detects harsh acceleration, heavy braking, and sharp cornering to help you correct dangerous driver habits.
-
Future-Proof Coverage: Connects via high-speed 4G LTE with 2G fallback, ensuring coverage across all major New Zealandn networks.
-
IP66 Water Resistant: Rugged housing withstands dust and water spray, making it suitable for engine bay or chassis installation.
Who It's For
High-Risk Fleet Management
If you transport valuable cargo, standard tracking isn't enough. The VIM-GPS101G provides redundant tracking layers (L1+L5 + INS) to ensure you can locate vehicles even in urban canyons or underground loading docks where thieves try to hide.
Construction Machinery & Plant
Compatible with 12V and 24V systems, this unit installs easily into excavators, bobcats, and yellow plant equipment. The hardwired connection ensures you never have to swap batteries, while the engine cut-off prevents unauthorized use of dangerous machinery.

How It Works
The device installs behind the dashboard, connecting to the vehicle's constant power, ground, and ACC (ignition) wires. The included relay is wired to the fuel pump circuit. Once active, the tracker transmits location data via the 4G network to the VimelTech mobile app and web platform. If the vehicle enters a tunnel, the INS sensors automatically take over to keep the track smooth and accurate until satellite connection is restored.

FAQ
1. What does "INS Tunnel Tracking" mean?
INS stands for Inertial Navigation System. If the tracker enters a tunnel or garage where GPS satellites are blocked, internal motion sensors calculate the vehicle's movement and speed to keep tracking it on the map until it exits.
2. Will this drain my car battery?
No. The device draws very little power. It also features a "Low External Power" alert to warn you if your vehicle battery is dropping too low.
3. How does the Engine Cut-Off work?
The kit includes a relay that you wire to the vehicle's fuel pump. You can send a command via the app to "open" the relay, cutting fuel and safely immobilising the vehicle.
4. Does it work on 24V trucks?
Yes. The VIM-GPS101G supports a wide voltage range of 9V to 30VDC, making it safe for cars, vans, and heavy trucks.
5. Is there a subscription fee?
The device is free to use with the manufacturer's app for the first year. After that, a small annual fee may apply for platform access. You also need to provide your own SIM card.
