How it Works

Connect the hub to your router with the included ethernet cable or over WiFi, then pair each camera to the hub on 2.4GHz or 5GHz.
Mount the four cameras at the entry points. When the PIR sensor triggers, human detection decides whether it is a person, and if it is you get an alert while the camera's siren and floodlight come on.
Recordings save to a micro SD card in the hub, and each camera has its own card slot as a second copy. Live view, playback, settings and two-way audio all run from the free app on iOS or Android.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to pay a monthly subscription?

No. All footage is stored locally on micro SD cards in the hub and the cameras. There is no cloud subscription to take out and no ongoing fee.

Can I view all four cameras at once?

Yes. The app shows a grid with all four live feeds side by side, and you tap any one of them to go full screen.

How far can the cameras be from the hub?

WiFi 6 gives a longer reach than standard WiFi. The typical effective range is 50 to 100 metres depending on what is in the way, and a clear line of sight to the hub helps.

Will I get alerts for animals and cars?

No. AI human detection filters out animals, vehicles and environmental movement, so you are alerted when an actual person is detected.

Can I add more cameras later?

The hub supports up to 4 cameras. For a larger property, a second system can be added and managed through the same app.

What happens if the power or internet goes out?

Each camera has its own battery and its own micro SD card, so if the hub loses power or the internet drops, the cameras keep recording locally and the footage syncs to the hub once the connection comes back.

Can I legally run this system on my property?

Yes. Recording your own property, inside and out, is generally lawful in New Zealand. Set the camera angles so they cover your land rather than a neighbour's windows or their yard, and keep recordings only as long as you need them. A business recording people must also follow the Privacy Act 2020.
