1. Does this camera need WiFi to work?

Yes. It connects over a 2.4GHz WiFi network for setup, live view and alerts. It has no SIM slot, so it is not suitable for a site with no internet. A 4G camera is the option there.

2. Is a memory card included?

No. The camera takes a microSD card up to 128GB, bought separately. Everything records to that card, so there is no monthly fee and no cloud subscription required.

3. Does it run on battery or solar?

Neither. This is a mains powered camera and the DC adapter is in the box. That is what allows it to record continuously rather than only on motion.

4. Can it record in colour at night?

Yes. Infrared gives a mono picture out to about 20m, and switching on the white LED flood light gives you full colour instead. You choose which mode the camera uses.

5. Will it alert me every time a car goes past?

Not if you set it up properly. Draw your detection areas around the parts of the property that matter and set the sensitivity per area. Vehicle and humanoid recognition then filter most of what is left.
