It records 1920x1080 at up to 30fps from a 2MP sensor through a 3.6mm lens with a 75.7 degree view, and infrared with an IR cut filter carries it to about 20 metres at night. Motion alerts reach the app on iPhone or Android over P2P, a microSD card up to 128GB keeps recording if the network drops, and the IP66 housing is rated for outdoors. It runs from a 12V 2A adapter and is 70 by 60 by 55mm.

How it Works

Insert a SIM and power it: Fit a data SIM from Spark, One NZ or 2degrees, mount the camera with the supplied screws and run it from the 12V 2A adapter. There is no internal battery, so it needs a permanent supply.
Pair the app: Add the camera over P2P on iPhone or Android. It comes up on 4G bands B1 to B28, or joins local WiFi with WPA2 if a router is in range.
Set motion alerts and storage: Turn on motion detection to get a push alert, and fit a microSD card up to 128GB so the camera keeps its own copy of the footage even when the connection drops out.
