Description

Most site cameras assume a router. This one does not. The VIM-4GCAM5X5MPX takes a 4G SIM, and WiFi and Ethernet are there as alternatives rather than requirements, so it can go up on the first day of a job rather than the day the internet is connected.

It records 2560x1920 from a 5MP sensor through a 2.8 to 12mm varifocal lens, and the PTZ head pans 355 degrees and tilts 90 at up to 200 degrees a second. 5X optical zoom pulls a gate or a plant compound closer, 840nm infrared and a white floodlight cover 50 metres after dark, and detection for people and animals reaches 50 metres with auto tracking and a built in siren. It runs from a 12V 2A supply and records to a microSD card up to 128GB.

This WiFi and 4G PTZ camera suits driveways, farmyards, workshops, loading areas and building sites where you need wide coverage without running new network cabling. Use the mobile app to adjust PTZ angles, zoom in on events and share access with other authorised users while the system records locally to a microSD card.

How it Works

Mount and connect power: Fix the camera to a pole or wall and run it from the supplied 12V 2A adapter. Fit the two cellular antennas and the WiFi antenna before you raise it.
Choose a network: Insert a 4G data SIM for a site with no internet, or join local WiFi or Ethernet where one already exists. The app pairs over P2P on Android, iOS and Windows.
Set presets and detection: Store the views that matter as presets, turn on human and animal detection out to 50 metres, and let auto cruising and auto tracking work between them while clips are written to the microSD card.
