Description

Zoom is what separates a camera that tells you something happened from one that tells you who. The VIM-4GCAM20X5MPX carries 20X optical zoom on a PTZ head, so a figure at the far fence line can be brought in close enough to be worth keeping.

It records 2560x1920 from a 5MP sensor, pans 355 degrees and tilts 90 at up to 200 degrees a second, and cruises up to 16 preset points on its own. Human detection zooms and tracks the target automatically. 840nm infrared and a motion triggered white floodlight cover the dark, digital motion detection reaches 50 metres, and a 4G SIM from Spark, One NZ or 2degrees is the only connection it needs. The IP67 housing runs from a 12V 2A supply and records to a microSD card up to 128GB.

Features

20x optical PTZ zoom QUAD HD 2560x1920p video, a 5MP image sensor and 20x optical zoom let you capture distant detail across large outdoor areas.

Continuous recording with local storage 24/7 working time and memory card support provide round-the-clock recording without needing a separate recorder.
Configurable recording modes Motion, continuous and scheduled recording options let you match recording behaviour to your site's risk and storage limits.

Motion alerts with siren support Digital motion detection up to 50 m with optional siren and floodlight response helps draw attention to activity around the property.

Applications

Where This Camera Works Best

This 20x optical zoom 4G PTZ camera suits open areas such as construction sites, farm boundaries, long driveways and industrial yards where long-range coverage and remote access are essential. Mount the camera to watch key approaches, set up human and vehicle detection and use the app to zoom in on incidents from wherever you are.

How it Works

Mount and power the camera: Fix it to a pole or wall with the supplied bracket, fit the three antennas and the extended speaker, and run it from the 12V 2A adapter.
Insert a data SIM: A SIM from Spark, One NZ or 2degrees brings it up on 4G bands B1 to B40. The app connects over P2P from Android, iOS or Windows with no router in the path.
Store presets and let it patrol: Save the views you care about as presets, switch on auto cruising and human detection, and the head will zoom and track a person while continuous or motion triggered clips go to the microSD card.
