Description

A negotiation, a board meeting, a legal briefing. The risk is rarely the walls. It is the phone face down on the table and whatever else came into the room in someone's bag.

The VIM-BLOCKPRO looks like a Bluetooth speaker and works as an ultrasonic blocker. Forty two emitters cover 270 degrees out to six metres, enough for a 16 square metre room. Run it from the body button, the remote, or leave it voice activated so it starts the moment anyone speaks. High and low power settings, and about three hours on the 2600mAh battery.

Features

Secure a Large Area: With an effective interference range of up to 6 metres and a wide 270-degree coverage angle, this jammer can protect an entire meeting table or a 16m² room from listening devices.
Automated Hands-Free Protection: Enable the smart voice-activated mode to automatically begin jamming when conversations are detected and return to standby when the room is silent, ensuring effortless security.
Discreet Remote Operation: Activate or deactivate the jammer silently from up to 10 metres away with the included remote control, allowing you to maintain full control without drawing attention.
Maintain a Covert Appearance: The fully functional Bluetooth speaker connects to your phone to play music, allowing the device to blend in seamlessly to any professional office or meeting room environment.
Adaptable Power for Any Scenario: Choose between high and low power settings to adjust the jamming intensity for different room sizes and sensitivity levels, ensuring optimal performance.

Applications

Real-World Scenarios

A Confidential Meeting In Your Own Office

Commercial terms, a pricing discussion, an acquisition. Everyone at the table has a phone in a pocket.

Set the unit on the table with the 270 degree output facing the room. It looks like a Bluetooth speaker, so nobody asks about it, and voice activation means it engages when the conversation starts rather than at a visible moment.

A Professional Consultation

Legal advice, financial planning, anything where what a client tells you is confidential and stays that way.

Six metres covers a normal consulting room. The remote lets you start it without breaking the conversation, and the disguise means the client is not sitting opposite a piece of counter surveillance equipment.

Alongside a Detection Sweep

A sweep tells you what was in the room when you looked, not what came in afterwards in someone's bag.

Detection and blocking do different jobs. Use a bug detector to find hardware, then run the blocker during the conversation so the words themselves are protected.

How it Works

Charge the unit, then place it on the table facing the room, with the 270 degree output pointed at the people rather than at a wall.
Choose your mode: the body button for manual control, the remote to start it without reaching for it, or voice activation so it engages the moment speech begins.
The 42 emitters flood the room with ultrasound out to six metres. Microphones in phones, recorders and planted bugs respond to it, so the recording holds interference instead of speech.

Frequently Asked Questions

How large a room does it cover?

It is rated for six metres over a 270 degree arc, which is about 16 square metres. That covers a normal meeting table. A long boardroom needs the unit placed centrally rather than at one end.

What does voice activation actually do?

It starts the blocker when it detects speech, so nobody has to remember to switch it on and there is no visible moment of activation.

How long does it run?

About three hours on the 2600mAh battery, or indefinitely on the power adapter.

Does it play music like a real speaker?

It is shaped like a Bluetooth speaker so it does not look out of place on a desk. Its function is blocking, not audio playback.

What is the difference between high and low power?

Low power narrows the effective distance and extends runtime. High power uses the full six metres. For a small room, low is usually enough.

Is it legal to use one of these in New Zealand?

You can protect your own conversations in a space you control, and that is what these are made for. Two things to keep in mind. This is an ultrasonic device: it emits sound above the range of human hearing, not radio signals, so it is not a radio jammer, and radio frequency jamming equipment is regulated separately under the Radiocommunications Act 1989. And it works on every microphone in range, including ones you may be relying on, so switch it off before a call you want recorded and never use it to interfere with a recording someone is lawfully entitled to make.
