Two Bluetooth tracker tags and two silicone collar mounts that slide onto the collar your dog already wears. Ring the tag from your phone when your dog is nearby, or check the map for the last place the Apple Find My or Google Find Hub network saw the tag. There is no SIM card and no monthly subscription, which is the main practical difference between this and a cellular pet tracker. It is a Bluetooth tag rather than a live GPS collar, so it works best where there are people and phones around.

You're away and someone else is watching your pet. Add them to the Find My app so they can track the dog from their own phone. If anything goes wrong, both of you see the tag's location, even on different platforms.

How it Works

Add: Open Apple Find My (iPhone) or Google Find Hub (Android). Add the tag in 30 seconds.
Attach: Slide the silicone collar mount onto your pet's collar and clip the tag into place.
Track: Ring the tag when your pet is nearby (up to 120 metres). Further away? The crowd-sourced network of passing iPhones and Android devices sends encrypted location updates to your phone.

Important to understand: This is a Bluetooth tracker that uses crowd-sourced location, not a cellular device with real-time GPS. It works best in populated areas where there are plenty of passing phones to relay location. In rural or isolated areas, location updates may be delayed. It will not give you live, second-by-second tracking like a cellular pet tracker, but it also will not charge you $15/month for the privilege.

Will this find my dog if he runs off?

Within about 120 metres of your phone, yes: you can ring the tag and follow the sound. Past that the tag cannot report its own position, because it has no GPS and no SIM card. The map only updates when another phone running Apple Find My or Google Find Hub passes close to it. In a suburban park that is often a few minutes. In remote bush with nobody around it may be nothing at all, so this is not the tool to rely on for a dog that ranges into open country.

Does this work with both iPhone and Android?

Yes. It connects to Apple Find My on iPhone and iPad and to Google Find Hub on Android. A single tag is registered to one account at a time rather than to both networks at once.

Will it survive swimming or playing in the rain?

Yes. The IP67 rating covers dust and immersion in water to 1 metre for 30 minutes, so rain, mud, puddles and brief swims are all fine.

Will the collar mount fit my dog's collar?

The silicone mount stretches to fit standard flat collars and works with most dog and cat collars. Very thick or rigid collars may not suit it.

How does this compare with a cellular GPS pet tracker?

They do different jobs. A cellular tracker has its own SIM card and reports live location wherever there is mobile coverage, which is what you want for a dog that roams away from people, and it normally carries an ongoing plan cost. This tag has no ongoing cost and no live location, and it is at its best around home, parks and streets where other phones are close by.
