Important to understand: This is a Bluetooth tracker, not a cellular GPS device. It shows your item's last known location based on when a nearby smartphone passed within range of the tag. In cities, suburbs, and busy public areas, updates are frequent. In remote locations with few people around, updates may be less regular. For most people tracking everyday items in populated areas, the crowd-sourced network provides practical, reliable location data at zero ongoing cost.
