The VIM-MINICAM6 is a kit rather than a camera: a 4K pinhole module with a 120 degree lens, a removable 2500mAh battery, an RF remote and a set of lens button covers so the lens can be finished into whatever you fit it to.

It records 3840 x 2160 to a microSD card up to 256GB with loop recording, and it does it without a network. There is no app and nothing to join, which is why the remote matters: you arm it, disarm it and switch modes from a handset instead of reaching into the housing.

No. The kit records to the card and is controlled by the supplied RF remote. That is the trade: nothing to configure, but no live view on your phone either.
