Description
Most solar cameras go up next to a light that someone else has to pay to run. This one is both: a 60 Watt, 8000 lumen LED street light and a 4G security camera on the same pole, each with its own battery so the camera does not go dark because the light has been busy.
A 90 Watt monocrystalline panel charges a 513Wh lithium pack, which the manufacturer rates at 30 to 40 hours of motion triggered lighting and three to five days without sun. The camera records 1920x1080 at 30fps to 128GB of built in storage, sends pop up alerts over 4G, and supports two way audio. A thermal PIR sensor holds the lamp at 30 percent and lifts it to full brightness for ten seconds when something moves, which is adjustable between 20 and 50 percent from the remote. Mounting height is 5 to 9 metres and the unit is IP67.
