Description

Thirty times optical zoom and 4K on the same camera is an unusual pairing, and it is what makes the VIM-4G30X3 useful on a long farm race or across a yard: you can push in on something a long way off and still have the resolution to identify it.

An 8MP IMX415 sensor records 3840x2160 at 30fps with H.265 compression, and the PTZ head turns 360 degrees with an auto cruise group of up to 16 preset points and a guard mode that returns to watching. Laser night vision reaches up to 300 metres, white LED full colour reaches 100, and detection covers 300 metres for people, animals and vehicles. Connection is a 4G SIM including Spark on the 700MHz rural band, or WiFi. Recording goes to a microSD card up to 256GB, and the IP67 housing has a siren and two way audio.

Features

4K 30X optical zoom coverage: Ultra HD 4K 3840x2160p recording and 30X optical zoom with PTZ rotation let you scan wide areas and inspect distant detail clearly.
4G and Wi-Fi remote access: Built-in 4G modem and Wi-Fi connectivity let you choose how to connect and view live video on phones, tablets and Windows PCs.
AI tracking and smart alerts: AI human auto tracking, alarm capture and scheduled recording work with push and email alerts so you see important events quickly.
Flexible monitoring and night vision: PTZ 360° camera rotation and two night vision modes, including laser night vision up to 300m and full-colour white-LED lighting, extend coverage after dark.
Audio, siren and sharing: Two-way audio with a built-in microphone and loud speaker, a loud siren alarm and multi-user view support enable active deterrence and shared access.
Preset patrol and guard mode: Auto cruising across up to 16 preset points with guard mode focused on a key position to follow movement through the scene.

Applications

Where This Camera Works Best

This 4G PTZ camera suits construction sites, farm entrances, car parks and large residential properties that need long-range zoom and 360° coverage without fixed cabling. Use 4G where there is no wired internet or switch to Wi-Fi on an existing network, then manage alerts, recordings and live view from your smartphone, tablet or computer.

How it Works

Mount it for the long shot: 30X zoom is wasted behind a hedge. Put the 3.9kg body where it has a clear run down the drive or across the paddock, and connect the supplied 12V adapter.
Insert a data SIM or join WiFi: 4G and WiFi switch between each other rather than running together. A Spark SIM picks up the 700MHz band where rural coverage is thin.
Set the cruise and guard mode: Save up to 16 preset points for auto cruise, leave guard mode on so the head returns to its watch position, and take push or email alerts when detection fires.
