Description
Laser night vision is what separates this camera from a floodlight camera. Instead of throwing white light 30 metres and hoping, the VIM-4G40X3 illuminates with an infrared laser that reaches up to 300 metres, which is the sort of distance a farm boundary actually needs.
It records 3840x2160 at 30fps from an 8MP sensor and carries 40X optical zoom on a PTZ head that turns a full 360 degrees and patrols 16 preset points. Detection works out to 300 metres on people, animals and vehicles, and a white LED mode brings colour back when you want it. It connects on a 4G SIM including the 700MHz rural band, or on WiFi, and holds footage on 128GB of built in storage plus a microSD card. The IP67 housing runs from a 12V 2A supply and the camera weighs 2.39kg.
