Description
The VIM-EXAMCAM is a wearable two way assistance kit. A pinhole camera module on a flexible lead streams live 1080p video to a phone, and a nano earpiece lets the person watching that phone talk back to whoever is wearing the camera.
The camera builds its own WiFi hotspot instead of joining a network, so the phone connects to it directly and the link works anywhere inside about 10 to 20 metres with no internet, no SIM and no data cost. A flat induction transmitter pairs to that same phone over Bluetooth and passes audio to the beige earpiece by magnetic induction, so there is no wire between the two. The camera runs 4 to 5 hours on a micro USB charge; the earpiece runs 75 to 150 minutes on a replaceable cell and ships with two spares.
