The VIM-USBCAM5 is a working USB flash drive with a 1080p camera in it and 32GB of memory built in. Plugged into a computer or a charger it records continuously; unplugged it runs about 100 minutes on its own cell.

The Privacy Act 2020 expects you to be open about it, so tell the people who live or work in the space, and put a notice up in a business. Carried and used while you are present, you are also a party to what is in front of you. What you cannot do is leave it recording a conversation you are not part of, use it in a bathroom or changing area, or record intimate footage, which is an offence under the Crimes Act 1961.
