No. It is a sensor for that system and has no siren or network connection of its own. It needs the hub to raise an alarm and to reach your phone.

Will my pets set it off?

Not under 25 kg. Cats and small to medium dogs are ignored. A larger dog can still register, so mount the sensor higher and angle it across the room rather than down toward the floor.

How long does the battery last?
