The VIM-4G20X3S puts a 4K PTZ camera and a 120 Watt solar array on the same pole, so it can watch a site continuously without a power lead or a router anywhere near it.

An 8MP IMX415 sensor records 3840x2160 at 30fps with H.265 compression, and 20X optical zoom on a 360 degree PTZ head reaches across a yard or a paddock. Auto cruise covers up to 16 preset points and AI tracking follows people and vehicles. Laser night vision reaches up to 300 metres and white LED full colour reaches about 100. It takes a 4G SIM including Spark on the 700MHz rural band, or WiFi, one at a time, and records to a microSD card up to 128GB. The IP66 housing has two way audio and a siren, and the full system weighs about 15kg with the panel.

Site the array before the camera: The panel is roughly 900 by 800mm and the whole system is over 20kg, so the mount has to carry it. Angle for winter sun, which is the season that decides whether it runs.
