Description

A 120 x 120 x 100mm two stage air purifier with a 1080p WiFi camera in the housing. It runs continuously on USB power and the purifier can be set to run for anything from 6 to 24 hours, so the unit is doing visible, useful work in the room regardless of the camera.

The camera records 1920 x 1080 through a 90 degree lens with infrared reaching 8 to 10m, which is longer than most indoor cameras in this range. It joins a 2.4GHz network for live view and motion alerts on Android or iOS, detects movement to about 6m, and saves to a microSD card up to 128GB.

Features

Infrared to 8 to 10m: the longest night vision range in this range, enough for a full room or a hallway rather than a desk.
Two stage filtration: captures airborne contaminants down to 0.3 microns, reducing smoke, mould, odours and common allergens.
Runs 24/7 on USB power: constant power for the camera, with the purifier settable between 6 and 24 hours per cycle.
1080p with a 90 degree lens: 1920 x 1080 across a wide view, so one unit covers a room without blind corners.
WiFi live view: joins a 2.4GHz network and streams to the free Android or iOS app with pop-up motion alerts.
Motion recording to about 6m: records events rather than empty hours.
128GB local storage: microSD up to 128GB, so footage stays in the building.

Applications

Real-World Scenarios

A Larger Room In Your Own Home

Infrared reaching 8 to 10m is what separates this from the smaller units. In a living room or a long hallway of your own, it still has a usable picture at the far end after the lights go off.

An Office Or Reception You Run

Premises you manage, with a notice at the entrance. The purifier is doing something for the people in the room, the timer runs it through the working day, and the camera covers the space.

A Room That Needs The Purifier Anyway

Somewhere smoke, cooking odours or allergens are already a problem. Buying one unit rather than two is the practical argument, and the filtration down to 0.3 microns is the real spec behind it.

How it Works

Place and power it: set it on a shelf or a bench facing the area you want covered and connect USB power. It needs a permanent supply for continuous recording.
Connect: install the free Android or iOS app and join the camera to your 2.4GHz WiFi network.
Set the modes: choose the purifier run time between 6 and 24 hours, and set the camera to motion or continuous recording. Watch live or review from the card in the app.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I use this in my home or business?

You can record a space you own or control. Your own house, your own office or shop, a stockroom, a garage or a holiday house are all ordinary lawful uses and they are what this is sold for. The limits are worth setting up correctly from the start. The Privacy Act 2020 expects people to be told when a space is being recorded, so a notice at the entrance is the usual answer for any area that staff, visitors or contractors use. Bathrooms, changing areas and bedrooms are off limits, and intimate visual recording is an offence under the Crimes Act 1961. Audio is treated more strictly than video: recording a private conversation you are not part of is a criminal offence. If the space is not yours to control, this is not the right device for it. This is general information, not legal advice.

How far does the night vision actually reach?

8 to 10m, which is the longest in this range. It records in a dark room without adding visible light to it, and at that distance it covers a full living room or a hallway rather than just a desk.

Does the purifier actually work?

Yes. It is a two stage filter rated to capture particles down to 0.3 microns, and the run time is settable between 6 and 24 hours per cycle.

How far does motion detection reach?

About 6m, which is shorter than the night vision range. Place it within 6m of the area you want triggering alerts, or run continuous recording instead.

Does it need to stay plugged in?

Yes. It runs from USB power for continuous operation and there is no internal battery for long running, so plan the position around a socket.

How much storage does it take?

A microSD card up to 128GB, which is not supplied. Motion recording makes that go considerably further than continuous.
